Anticipation is building around the official unveiling of The New Redmond Hotel by SCP (Soul Community Planet) as the final pieces are put in place towards the opening of the revitalized downtown icon, scheduled for December 1.
Among the amenities the property will offer is SCP’s trademark “Fair Trade Pricing Program,” designed to allow guests to determine the price they pay at checkout “based on the quality of their experience.”
SCP Redmond is the latest addition to SCP’s hotel portfolio which embodies the stated essential core values of the brand — Soul (personal wellness), Community (social good) and Planet (the environment).
Located in the rapidly growing hub of Redmond, the 41,000 sq. ft., four-story, 49-room historic building has undergone a two-year, $7 million renovation that preserved historical features while merging its classical design with elements of SCP’s trademark mindful, minimalist style. In keeping with the company’s environmental ethos, the renovation included the use of sustainable and regionally sourced materials.
